    • Picturing Women Inventors - A poster exhibition Time: All Day Locations: Odenton Library 1325 Annapolis Road, Odenton 21113 Details:

      The Smithsonian and the United States Patent and Trademark Office presents “Picturing Women Inventors” a poster exhibition that explores the inventions of 19 highly accomplished American women. Astronauts, computer pioneers, and businesswomen join athletes, engineers, and even teenagers in this remarkable group of inventors.

      The posters will be on view at the Odenton Library March 1-31. Use the link below for directions and the phone number to the Odenton Library.

    • Animal Care & Control will be OPEN Time: 10:00am - 3:00pm Locations: 411 Maxwell Frye Road Millersville, MD 21108 Details: Animal Care & Control OPEN for Adoptions/Redemptions on Sunday March 27, 2022.
    • Blacksmith Shop Workday Time: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details: Stop by the Kinder Farm Park Blacksmith Shop and watch the Chesapeake Forge Blacksmith Guild members forging metal, using various tools. Stand on the sidelines and view a trade that is over 100 years old but still very much alive today at Kinder Farm Park. The Blacksmith Shop is open on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    • Kinder Farm Park Owl Prowl Time: 7:30pm - 8:30pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Visitor Center Details: Come take a walk in Kinder Farm Park to look for owls and other nocturnal animals in the park. Participants will meet at the Park  Visitor Center to go over interesting facts about owls and to familiar themselves with the owl calls. Then they will take an hour walk around the park to popular owl nesting sites with the hope to not just hear owls, but to also see some.
