Picturing Women Inventors - A poster exhibition Time: All Day Locations: Odenton Library 1325 Annapolis Road, Odenton 21113 Details:
The Smithsonian and the United States Patent and Trademark Office presents “Picturing Women Inventors” a poster exhibition that explores the inventions of 19 highly accomplished American women. Astronauts, computer pioneers, and businesswomen join athletes, engineers, and even teenagers in this remarkable group of inventors.

Ethics Commission Contingent Meeting (only if called) Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm Locations: 2666 Riva Road Annapolis, MD 21401 Details:
The Ethics Commission is regularly scheduled to meet on the second Monday of each month, beginning at 4:00 p.m., in the commission’s office, unless rescheduled by the commission. The commission will also have a contingent meeting scheduled for the third Monday of each month. The open portion of the meeting is usually quite brief, about 5-15 minutes. Visitors are welcome to attend the open portion of the meeting. If a person would like to bring a matter to the commission's attention or otherwise be heard during either the open or closed portion of the meeting, that person must notify the commission at least 24 hours prior to the meeting, providing that person's name and contact information. The commission has the discretion to permit a person to address the commission during a meeting, and may limit the time for the remarks of any speaker. The commission will not respond to questions or comments during a meeting, but upon request, will respond in writing to any speaker within a reasonable time after the meeting.

Applicants can register using the online registration form or the PDF application. The online registration form is the preferred method however emailed applications will be accepted. If you use the PDF application, email the completed application to [email protected].
All applications must be to the academy at least 14 days prior to the LEOSA date or it will not be processed. Please ensure that your full name (First, Middle, and Last) and Date of Birth are included on the application.
Application Process/Testing Requirements
Upon the academy receiving the background check, the applicant will get an email confirmation, that confirmation and a RETIRED COUNTY POLICE ID must be brought to the academy for admission to LEOSA. If you do not have a retired AACO Identification Card, please contact the Police Technology Section at (410) 222-3021 for further details on how to acquire one.
