Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00a - 12:00p Location: Kinder Farm Park Details:
Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.
Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.
Preschool Storytime Time: 10:30a - 11:30a Location: Linthicum Community Library Details: Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for
school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.
Photo Sharing Time: 11:00a - 12:00p Location: Brooklyn Park Senior Activity Center 202 Hammonds Lane Brooklyn Park, MD 21225 Details: Bring in old photo albums and share with members about who each person is.
Mardi Gras Party Time: 12:30p - 1:00p Location: Annapolis Senior Activity Center 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis Details: Celebrate this fun carnival with friends and family! Don’t forget to wear purple, yellow and/or green to the center for the Mardi Gras celebration. Entertainment will be provided by Charles Taylor and the Availables. Light refreshments will be served.
