Sawmill Workshop Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:
Weather permitting, Kinder Farm Park's very own Sawmill Club will be running logs through the mill. Wood milled from the sawmill can be seen around Kinder Farm park, including inside the Tobacco Barn Museum and Visitor Center.
Antique Equipment and Sawmill Club’s mission is the restoration and display of the park’s antique farm equipment, tractors and sawmill. Our goal is to offer presentations and displays of antique farm tools and equipment so that those participating can experience farm life in historical Anne Arundel County. The lumber from the sawmill is used in many of the small barns and other structures in the park.
Grandparent Story Time Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Bring the grandkids and enjoy a winter fun sing-along storytime with Broadneck Community Library’s Steve Mangum! You will also learn how you can register to participate in the library’s reading program. Recommended for ages 2-5 with grandparent or caregiver. Light refreshments will be served.
Preschool Storytime Time: 10:30am - 11:30am Locations: Linthicum Community Library Details: Children ages three to five (with caring adult) build the early literacy skills needed for
school readiness through engaging books, songs and activities.

Chef on the Go Time: 12:30pm - 2:30pm Locations: Catherine L. O'Malley Senior Center 1275 Odenton Road Odenton, MD 21113 (410) 222-6227 Details: Join Chef Rosalie Falter for Recipes from the Taverns and Inns of Colonial Williamsburg. Rosalie will allow participants to sample all foods if they’d like! Recipes will be handed out. Menu Includes: Hot Apple Cider, King’s Arms Tavern Cream of Peanut Soup, Williamsburg Inn Chicken and Dumplings, Plain Dumplings and Ambrosia. Registration is required; along with a $4.00 supply fee.
