The Arnold Senior Activity Center is offering the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance / Tax Counseling for the Elderly (VITA/TCE) program. This is a free service that is coordinated by the AARP and the IRS. Trained tax volunteers will be available at the Center from February 3rd until April 9th. The VITA/TCE Program will only do relatively uncomplicated tax returns (returns deemed to be unusually complicated and/or out of scope will not be completed). Our volunteers cannot do returns involving partnerships or corporations, self-employed persons or rental properties. Also, the guidelines call for doing only Business EZ, and no more than 5 stock transactions. APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED. Call 410-222-1922 or stop by the front desk for an appointment.
