Sailing on the "Non Sea Quitter"
(bad weather date on Friday, April 26). Join fellow center
members for a relaxing and scenic two-hour sail with
Captain Paul Foer on West River toward the open Bay.
Captain Paul grew up on West River and will share stories
about the ecology and history of the Bay. Sign up at
the front desk for one of the following two-hour time
slots: 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. (sunset). On Wednesday evening, you'll be treated to
waterborne views of the yacht races! Wear rubber-soled
shoes (no flip flops or open sandals), a hat, sunglasses and
bring a drink (no glass bottles) and a light snack. We take up
to six guests per trip at the discounted price of $40 per person
($50 for sunset). Payment is due at is severe weather (not
just rain) we will reschedule. Meet at West River Yacht Harbour,
4801 Riverside Drive at the Oyster Gazebo 15 minutes
before your departure time—and we will leave on time following
a safety demo. No refunds for late arrivals. Guests
must be able to walk on a boat dock and climb on and off the
boat. “Non Sea Quitter” is fully insured for passengers and is
documented by the US Coast Guard to engage in coastwise
trade. She is always operated by a USCG licensed master.
