Happy Hats Maryland is a charity project that provides yarn wigs and character hats to pediatric oncology patients. Kay Alston from Happy Hats will lead this workshop to assemble the wigs from other materials that are made ahead of time. All materials and supplies will be provided. No skills are required. At the end of the workshop, participants will have learned some new crafting skills and had some fun with friends, and Happy Hats will have a few wigs to donate to pediatric patients in the area. All of the hats that are made are for donation, not to be taken home. Sign up at the front desk.
