The Anne Arundel County Office of Emergency Management will present an orientation to Winter Weather Preparedness. This free 45 minute presentation will include: Description of the winter weather Anne Arundel County may experience; Discussion of National Weather Service weather categories and alerting; How to prepare yourself and your family for any emergency; Pet preparedness; How to prepare your home and car for winter weather; Handling power outages, and What to do after the storm. Visitors who complete the presentation will receive free emergency preparedness handout materials. Please sign up by Jan. 31st.
