For individuals who have registered for the AARP Tax-Aide program at the Pasadena Senior Activity Center, appointments will begin today. Please be sure to check your registration packets for the date and time of your appointment. Please note that snow make-up days will be held April 6th through April 15th. This program assists people with preparing and filing both Federal and State, as well as, helping individuals to claim Homeowners or Renters Tax Credit. Volunteers are certified by the Internal Revenue Service and will help only with simple tax returns which are filed electronically. Volunteers do not do tax returns involving partnerships, corporations, some selfemployed persons or rental properties. Appointments fill up quickly so call or stop at the front desk for more information.
