Who is Anne Arundel? Documentary Screening

Wed. Feb 1, 2017 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Annapolis Library
Watch a special documentary screening on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Annapolis Library, 1410 West Street, Annapolis.
Have you ever wondered how Anne Arundel County got its namesake? She had many titles: Lady Arundel, Lady Baltimore, Anne Arundel of Wardour. Now, for the first time, you can watch a comprehensive story of her life. It is a story of colonization and religious wars, shrewed politicians and valient warriors, kings and queens and family loyalty.
Please join us at the Annapolis Library on February 1st to view a new documentary produced by Arundel TV about Anne Arundel’s life and times. The 30-minute program features local historians and ties together facts about Lady Baltimore that have always been fragmented in different books and letters.
There are even some revelations about her that have never been seen or heard of before.  This is an excellent opportunity for children to learn more about the County’s history. Experts will answer questions after the screening.
