The South Shore Trail is open from dawn to dusk. The trail primarily utilizes the abandoned road bed of the WB& A Railroad between Annapolis and Odenton.
The South Shore Trail Phase I parking lot is located at 1681 Millersville Road in Millersville. Phase I begins from Millersville Road to Waterbury Road and Ticker Lane. The South Shore Trail Phase Va is located from Bestgate Road to Medical Parkway.
