A major Capital Improvements Project at Odenton (GORC) Park is about to commence. Starting on Monday, November 1, 2021, the Park, on Strawberry Lake Way in Odenton, will be closed to the public. The approximately $5 million project will construct a new playground, expand on-site parking, renovate and improve baseball/softball and multipurpose sports fields, build a replacement basketball court, add a new picnic pavilion, install sports field lighting, construct a new concessions/toilet/storage building, provide ADA-compliant access to more areas of the Park, and connect Park facilities to public utilities.
Construction is expected to be complete in Fall-2022, with the Park reopening shortly thereafter. Depending on construction progress, portions of the Park may reopen earlier.

From Crofton take Route 3 north and take a left onto Waugh Chapel Road. Proceed approximately 2 miles and take a left onto Strawberry Lake Way. Park is on left. You must park in the designated parking area.
