Dear Eisenhower Golfers,
Back in 2018 the county purchased Eisenhower Golf course with the intention of renovating the facility and ultimately providing a first-class facility for the Anne Arundel County golfing community. This process started when the course closed October 1st, 2018 bringing to life the vision of golf course architect Andrew Green.
This renovation was a large undertaking from re-shaping the golf course to just over 7,100 yards, installation of new USGA spec greens, re-grassing all playing surfaces, installation of new irrigation system as well as working with the Anne Arundel County Watershed Protection and Restoration Program on an extensive stream restoration project.
Our intention was to have the golf course back open to the public during the summer of 2020. Unfortunately, construction delays and COVID-19 has forced us to postpone the opening until May 1st, 2021. While I know this is disappointing news, we are committed to making sure the course is in exceptional condition prior to re-opening. I have toured the course several times, it is going to be an awesome golf experience for our returning golfers and well worth the wait.
