Location

Meeting Announcement

A public meeting has been scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at the Severna Park Library to discuss plans to clean and line about 1.3 miles of water main to prevent leaks, breaks and loss of water service.

The project would start near 101 Benefield Road and impact the following streets: Robinson Road, Erin Garth, Thomas Way, Kimberly Court, Marbury Road, Triple Oak Lane, Admiral Road and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. The lining on B&A Boulevard would start at Ritchie Highway and go until Riggs Avenue.

Construction is tentatively slated to begin in late November 2026 and take about a year.  Road closures, detours, lane closures, and sidewalk closures could take place during the work. Flaggers and traffic control devices will guide motorists through work zones. Detours and closures on adjacent roads would not occur at the same time. Access to driveways will be maintained at all times. When sidewalks are closed, signs will divert pedestrians to walking routes that avoid construction activities.

No work will be performed during peak hours of 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Work hours along school bus routes will be restricted to 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

As work progresses, there will be water service interruptions of up to four hours for residences, businesses and Severna Park High School as bypass piping is installed. Any work near the high school would occur when school is not in session. We will notify customers prior to any service interruptions.
