Marley Creek Regional Park - Projects

Project Description

This project plans and develops a 72 acre County-owned site into a new Regional Park.  Planning for the park will focus on providing passive recreation through natural spaces, picnicking areas, playgrounds, gardens, plazas, and other community gathering opportunities, while limiting forest clearing.  The design will also address utility extensions (water, sewer, electricity, and fiber) into the site, roadways for circulation, parking, and paved and natural pedestrian trails connected to the B&A trail, including bridges over the streams as needed. The Master Plan will also provide for a comfort station placed conveniently for both the B&A trail users as well as park users, a ranger station, and maintenance facilities.
