Circuit Court
  • State of Maryland vs Jarrod Ramos (C-02-CR-18-001515)

    Ramos pleaded guilty to 23 counts including five counts of first-degree murder for fatally shooting Rob Hiaasen, Gerald Fischman, John McNamara and Wendi Winters, who died at the scene, and Rebecca Smith, who died at the hospital later in surgery.

    Motion Hearings: August 5, 6, 11 and September 2-3, 2020

    Jury Selection: December 1-3, 2020

    Trial: December 7-18, 2020


  • State of Maryland vs Heather Meisel (C-02-CR-20-000404)

​Meisel is charged with one count of attempted first degree murder, one count of attempted second degree murder, one count of first degree attempted arson, one count of first degree attempted malicious burning and other related charges for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail into a place of worship.

Conference Status: January 15, 2021

Hearing – Competency: July 12, 2021


  • State of Maryland vs William Edings (C-02-CR-19-002835)

Edings is charged with one count of second degree child abuse, one count of second degree assault and other related charges.

Trial – Jury: October 15, 2020


  • State of Maryland vs Calum Thomas (C-02-CR-19-000309)

Thomas was convicted by a jury to one count of second degree murder and firearm charges in the death of Terry Crouse.

Hearing – Sentencing: August 14, 2020


  • State of Maryland vs Chelsea Felesky (D-07-CR-20-012901)

Felesky is charged with one count of threat of mass violence and other related charges for allegedly making bomb threats against a local store.

Trial: August 17, 2020


  • State of Maryland vs Andy Reyes (C-02-CR-20-000480)

Reyes is charged with one count of attempted first degree murder, one count of attempted second degree murder, one count of first degree assault, one count of second degree assault and other related charges.

Hearing – Motion: August 25, 2020

Trial – Jury: December 15, 2020


  • State of Maryland vs James Verombeck (C-02-CR-19-001119)

Verombeck was charged with one count of first degree murder, one count of firearm usage/felony and other related charges in the death of Tyrique Hudson.

Hearing Plea: September 22, 2020
