Summer Field Hockey

This summer field hockey league is open to high school players (new or old), and adults over the age 18.


Anne Arundel County offers summer field hockey to high school players.  Those currently in high school or those entering the 9th grade.  There is also a summer field hockey league for adults over the age 18.
 
  • Registration is available for all players over the age 18 in an adult competitive league or adult recreational recreation league
  • Registration is available for high school teams/players.  The registration is for current high school girls or those entering the 9th grade in the fall.  Each high school team must have adult representative at all games.

High School:
Registration Fee until May 31, 2023:    $90.00/per player
Registration Fee June 1, 2023 forward:    $100.00/per player
   
Adult (Over 18) COMPETITIVE League:
Registration Fee until May 31, 2023:  $100.00/per player
Registration Fee June 1, 2023 forward:    $110.00/per player
   
Adult (Over 18) RECREATION League:
Registration Fee until May 31, 2023:  $80.00/per player
Registration Fee June 1, 2023 forward:    $90.00/per player

League Information and Season Start Dates:

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Games played -  Mon & Wed nights. beginning June 19, 2023      
  • Each team must have an adult representative
  • 11v11 full field
  • 10 games (No game on July 3)
  • Graduating Seniors should register with one of the Adult leagues

ADULT COMPETITIVE

  • Games Played - Tues & Thurs nights, beginning June 20, 2023
  • 11v11 full field
  • Field size may be reduced depending on the number of players registered for this league.
  • 10 games (No games on July 4)

ADULT RECREATIONAL

  • Games played - Sunday Evenings beginning June 18, 2023
  • 11v11 full field
  • Field size may be reduced depending on the number of players registered for this league.
  • 8 games (No game July 2)

For the High School League:  There will be no Captains however each team must have adult representation on the field. We ask that a name and contact information for each team be provided to Recreation & Parks at [email protected].
