    • Bird Walk Time: 7:00am - 8:30am Locations: Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Details: Join an avid Jug Bay birder to learn skills for identifying birds by sight and sound. Novice and experienced birders are welcome on this 2-3 mile walk to explore the forests and wetlands in search of the 250+ species of birds that call Jug Bay home, or migrate through. Wear comfortable walking shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a spotting scope and binoculars if you have them. Ages 12 and older. Free with $6 per vehicle park entrance fee. Gate opens at 6:45 am for a 7 am prompt start time. Current health guidelines and registration required. Space is limited.     • Art Exhibition @ Quiet Waters Park Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm Locations: Quiet Waters Park Details:

      Form and Fabric

      The opening will be held on Nov 21 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm in the Willow Gallery of the Visitor Center. The park entrance fee will be waived for the reception only. All items may be removed upon purchase, creating an excellent opportunity for holiday shopping.

      The following artists will be participating:

      Chesapeake Weavers: textiles, dyed clothing and accessories

      Chesapeake Woodturners: handmade wooden items

      Garage Art: pottery

      Ardythe Jolliff: note cards

      Joan Machinchick: paintings, calendars and calligraphy

      Donna Schramek: soft sculpture

      Liz Sork: hand-painted glasses

      Annette Uroskie: paintings and photographs.
       
       
    • Jingle Bell Hayride Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Kinder Farm Park Details:

      THIS EVENT IS FULL.

      Enjoy a festive hayride through the park complete with sleigh bells and decorated hay wagon. Following the ride warm yourself with some hot chocolate or coffee. Pre-registration is required. For more info visit www.kinderfarmpark.org.

      You are cordially invited to come enjoy nature themed crafts, wreath making (bring your own wire wreath and we will provide the supplies), a campfire, food and warm beverages.
