Public Meeting for Ft. Smallwood Shoreline Phase 2 and 3 Date/Time: Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm Locations: Virtual Meeting Details:
A virtual public meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 3, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00
p.m. via the ZOOM.us platform by using the link or phone number(s) above.
This meeting which will focus specifically on the construction plan and schedule to begin
shoreline stabilization at Ft. Smallwood Park. This project will inhibit shoreline erosion and
provide a more aesthetic and useable shoreline. Construction is anticipated to begin in
May/June 2021 and be complete by November 2021. Work is expected to take place from
7:00a.m. until dusk Monday through Saturday. You may see and hear heavy equipment
along the shore.
DPW officials will present information exclusively regarding the construction of the
shoreline improvements, and will also answer questions from those in attendance. Please
note this meeting will be audio and video recorded.
