Athletics/Recreation Programs and Child Care Cancellations and Closures
Nov 5 - Please be advised that on or about November 4, 2019 Anne Arundel County Facilities Management (FMD) will begin winterizing Recreation & Parks facilities. This will include community park/athletic facilities restrooms and concessions. Additionally, the water fountains will be turned off at these facilities, including the fountains along the Anne Arundel County Trails system.
Every attempt will be made to not close any facilities until regularly scheduled Recreation & Parks games have been completed.

Nov. 1, 2019 - The Glen Burnie Ice Rink will not be opening on Nov. 1 due to weather. Please check the Ice Rinks Facebook page for more information www.facebook.com/gbicerink. We hope to open later this weekend.

Fort Smallwood Park: As part of the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation & Parks Shoreline Restoration Project at Fort Smallwood Park, the swimming beaches and beach access road will be closed to the public on Monday, 09/16/19 for the remainder of 2019.
For your safety please adhere to all construction barriers and signage in the park during this closure. For more information on the project, please contact the Fort Smallwood Park Office at 410-222-0087.
