The Anne Arundel County Watershed Protection and Restoration Program (WPRP) has recently completed the systematic assessment of the Herring Bay, Middle and Lower Patuxent Watershed and is making the draft report available for public review and comment.  This watershed assessment was conducted per the requirements of Anne Arundel County’s National Pollution Discharge Elimination System Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (NPDES-MS4) Permit.

WPRP invites comments from the public on the proposed Herring Bay, Middle and Lower Patuxent Watershed Assessment in order to determine additional programmatic improvements that can aid in achieving Federal and State mandated water quality standards in the Middle/Lower Patuxent & Herring Bay Watersheds.

The draft Herring Bay, Middle and Lower Patuxent Watershed Assessment is available for download below and can be inspected at the physical address listed above.
