Odenton MARC Station TOD Project

MDOT, Anne Arundel County, and Odenton Town Square Ventures LLC are partnering on a plan to redevelop the West MARC Parking Lot with a new Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project.  This surface parking lot, located at the southeast quadrant of the MD 175 and Town Center Boulevard intersection, is planned to be redeveloped as a mixed use project to include a parking structure, retail uses at the street level, and residential apartments and townhomes.  Site planning efforts are ongoing, and construction may begin as soon as 2019.

Odenton Town Center Public Common Concept

The County is studying a site in the heart of the OTC for potential acquisition and development as a public common or park.  The goal is to provide an attractive urban green space that can also be used for public events and activities.  Conceptual design ideas have been prepared, and planning efforts will continue in 2017.  Some undeveloped portions of the Odenton Library site are also being considered as an alternative site for a public park.
