      Join County Executive Steuart Pittman, Governor Parris Glendening and his Smart Growth America coalition, and your newly appointed Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) for a day-long workshop to launch the CAC kick-off for Plan2040, Anne Arundel County’s update to the General Development Plan. 
       
      This workshop is open to residents of all Anne Arundel County communities, and will be followed by meetings in each of the neighborhoods where Small Area Plans were previously prepared. It is the launch of County Executive Pittman’s commitment to community-driven planning.
       
      The new CAC is made up of one representative from each of the County’s Small Areas. Meet your representative!

      All meetings will begin at 5:00 p.m. with an Open House that will continue throughout the evening. At 7:00 p. m. there will be a community discussion on:

      • What is special about your community?
      • What has changed in the last 15 years?
      • What needs improvement?
      • What should your community look like in 20 years?

      Can’t make one of the meetings? An online survey will mirror the community meetings and will be available at aacounty.org/plan2040
