The Anne Arundel Funds

In October 2017, Anne Arundel County entered into the strategic partnership with the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County (CFAAC) to streamline charitable giving to support County departments, programs and projects.

CFAAC is a local 501(c)3 organization and the largest institutional nonprofit funder in the County. The agreement establishes the Anne Arundel County Fund within CFAAC. Donors can now make a direct contribution online to the Anne Arundel County Fund to benefit the Anne Arundel County Animal Control as well as the Department of Aging and Disabilities, Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Health, Partnership for Children, Youth & Families, Department of Recreation & Parks, and Department of Social Services. Other local Maryland jurisdictions have formed similar partnerships with Community Foundations to inspire public philanthropy and impact defined local needs.
