    • Free Parenting Program Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Locations: Brooklyn Park Library 1 East 11th Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21225 Details:

      Learn about a free parenting program for parents with children from ages 0 to 5. The program is offered on Mondays from at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 12, 2019 to September 30, 2019 at the Brooklyn Park Library. 
       

      The Circle of Security is an 8-week relationship-based program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and their children.

    • No Discharge Zone Petition: Public Meeting Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm Locations: Anne Arundel County Police Department Southern District, 35 Stepneys Ln, Edgewater, MD 21037 Details: Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis are collecting public comments before submitting a petition to the State of Maryland and the Environmental Protection Agency regarding no discharge zones. If approved, the petition would make it illegal to discharge treated wastewater from a vessel into the tidal tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. Instead, boaters would be required to discharge treated wastewater only at collection points. The City of Annapolis and the Office of the County Executive will have staff at this meeting to collect feedback on the plan.

      The Police Community Relations Council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.  The Anne Arundel County Police-Community Relations Council (PCRC) is a voluntary, independent, self-constituted advisory body.
