      Learn about a free parenting program for parents with children from ages 0 to 5. The program is offered on Mondays from at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on August 12, 2019 to September 30, 2019 at the Brooklyn Park Library. 
       

      The Circle of Security is an 8-week relationship-based program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and their children.

    • No Discharge Zone Petition: Public Meeting: Time: 7:00p - 8:00p Location: Pip Moyer Recreation Center Meeting Room, 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, MD 21403 Details: Anne Arundel County and the City of Annapolis are collecting public comments before submitting a petition to the State of Maryland and the Environmental Protection Agency regarding no discharge zones. If approved, the petition would make it illegal to discharge treated wastewater from a vessel into the tidal tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay. Instead, boaters would be required to discharge treated wastewater only at collection points. The City of Annapolis and the Office of the County Executive will have staff at this meeting to collect feedback on the plan.
