County Council - FY24 Budget

This page will serve as a central location for meeting schedules, legislation links, and other relevant information as the Council collaborates with the County Executive's Office and other county agencies to adopt the FY24 Budget.

Instructions for Attending a Meeting

Attendance is always encouraged. Some meetings are in-person, while others are virtual. Details are listed below. All meetings of the County Council can be watched on Arundel TV. Links and cable channels can be found on the Government Television Service Page.

Meetings designated as a "virtual meeting" can also be watched using ZOOM. Pre-registration is required.


FY24 VIRTUAL Budget Meetings (May 30 and June 7, 2023)


May 30 at 11:00 a.m.: Auditor’s Recommendations (County Auditor’s Review of the Proposed FY 2024 Budget)

May 30 at 3:00 p.m.: Administration’s Rebuttal (Response to the County Auditor from the Budget Officer)

June 7 at 11:00 a.m.: County Executive’s Supplement Budget (Presentation of Supplemental Amendments to the Proposed FY 2024 Budget)

NOTE: The June 6 and June 14 Budget meetings will be held in-person in the Council Chambers located in the Arundel Center in Annapolis, Maryland.

How to Submit Testimony

Testimony can be submitted online, mailed, dropped off, or given in person at the May 11 or May 18 public hearing.

All testimony submitted online is received and reviewed by the entire Council as it is submitted and added to the official record.
