Comptroller Peter Franchot Hosts County Officials Round-table

Comptroller Peter Franchot hosted a Newly Elected County Officials Round-table to discuss ways in which state and local offices can partner in the future.  Below are links to some of the topics referenced:

Unclaimed Property:  The Comptroller’s Office has records of over 17 million accounts, worth approximately $1.2 billion in unclaimed property.  Individuals can search the Unclaimed Property database to see if they have an unclaimed property account.  Mr. Jason Sobel is the Manager of our Unclaimed Property Division and can be contacted at [email protected] for additional information.

Maryland Craft Beer: A World Without Limits -  The  2017 report details the economic impact of Maryland’s craft brewing industry, provides a summary of the work of the Reform on Tap Task Force, and outlines Comptroller Franchot’s legislative recommendations to reform Maryland’s beer laws.
