
Salary Standard Commission
There is a Salary Standard Commission composed of seven members appointed by the County Council. The Commission shall report to the County Council in accordance with Local Government Article, § 10-302, of the State Code.

Under the County Code, the Council is required to establish a Salary Standard Commission in the year before an election year to submit recommendations to the current Council relative to compensation for Councilmembers in the following four-year term. (Anne Arundel County Code § 3-9-101)
