    • Van Trip –Annapolis Amish Market Time: 11:00a - 1:30p Location: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: We’re off to the Pennsylvania Dutch Farmer’s Market, known as the “Amish Market”, located in the Annapolis Harbor Center. Shop a large selection of foods, there’s even a Dutch Market Restaurant featuring a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, prepared by Amish cooks, using traditional PA Dutch recipes enriching you with a warm and hearty, homemade meal. Trip limited to the first 12 people that sign up. Sign up by August 30th.

      Shop’N Eat (Subsidizing Healthy-food Options Plus Nutrition Education and Training) is a new program to educate and provide opportunities for developing healthy eating habits for AACo. Senior residents through the use of subsidized grocery cash cards.

      Participants must be 60 years or older, Anne Arundel County resident (must show proof) and participate in nutrition education each quarter.

Eligibility requirements are 60 yrs or older; AA County resident, MD ID, one per household; mandatory quarterly nutrition education; pay by cash, check, money order.

    • Van Trip-Jack’s Fortune Restaurant Time: 11:00a - 1:30p Location: Arnold Senior Activity Center 44 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012 Details: Jack’s Fortune Chinese Restaurant has been in business in the Bay Forest Shopping Center for twelve years now and for reasons in addition to their outstanding food. It’s well-decorated –a pretty and inviting space; presentation is over the top. A menu is available at the front office. Seats on the van are limited. Participants are responsible for the cost of their meal and tip. Sign up by Thursday, September 13th.
