The Department of Aging and Disabilities can assist families with services and resources for older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers through our local Maryland Access Point (MAP.) Water Bill Relief Program (UPDATE: 10/22/20)
The Water Bill Relief Program will provide temporary financial assistance to Anne Arundel County homeowners who are unable to pay their water & wastewater services due to financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 crisis.

For those who do not have internet access, you will have the option to drop all your proper verification into a drop box at our Glen Burnie Office located at 7500 Ritchie Highway, you will be contacted and interviewed via telephone, please remember to note the best working number and time to reach you.

Social Security Administration
Social Security Benefits Will be Paid On Time

Fresh Food Fridays
The Department of Aging & Disabilities and the Anne Arundel County Foodbank are providing fresh produce boxes on Fridays to anyone 60+ years old and anyone 18+ years old with a disability.

Senior Nutrition Lunch Service
The Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities will reinstate the Senior Nutrition lunch service beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Clients of the Senior Nutrition Program typically enjoy a hot lunch at the senior activity centers Monday through Friday. Since the centers closed on Thursday, March 12, 2020, the department has ensured that all clients that needed a meal received one. The Department has expanded the program to meet the needs of any adult age 60+ in the community who wishes to participate but meals must be reserved in advance by calling 410-222-0256.
Each pre-registered client will receive 1 box a week which contains 7 meals. The boxes are distributed to pre-registered clients at the following senior activity centers. Please contact your local senior center for pickup time.

Clients are asked to stay in their vehicles and staff will safely transfer the box of meals into their vehicle consistent with COVID-19 guidelines. For clients who are unable to pick up their meals, or for anyone interested in registering for the program, contact (410) 222-0256. Program participants must be 60 years of age or older and you must show your government-issued ID. Meals must be reserved in advance.
