The Spending Affordability Committee makes advisory recommendations to the Office of Budget, the County Executive, and the County Council relating to spending affordability.

General Info

The Spending Affordability Committee makes advisory recommendations to the Office of Budget, the County Executive, and the County Council relating to spending affordability, including County spending levels, to reflect the ability of the taxpayer to finance County services and long-term debt. The recommendations are to be presented in a report not less than 150 days before the end of each fiscal year and copies of the report shall be made available for public inspection. The seven member board meets on a bi-weekly basis from September through January of each year.
 

Meeting Information

Meetings are held late October through the end of January at 6:00 p.m. in the Budget Office's Conference room, Room 410, the Arundel Center , 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis, MD. 21401.
