Homeless Resource Day
Thank you for your interest in Anne Arundel County’s 2020 Homeless Resource Day. We regret to inform you that out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing the 2020 Homeless Resource Day in light of the Coronavirus - COVID-19. We will provide an update when we have rescheduled the event.
The Holiday Sharing Program is a private donation program, which provides seniors and families with holiday donations through the effort of the Anne Arundel County community.

Homeless Resource Day is an annual County event to help those without permanent housing access the numerous services they need to become more self-sufficient and seek permanent housing. Services that might take a homeless individual months or longer to obtain are provided for free in one location.
For example, individuals can obtain a birth certificate, Social Security card, a state ID and other official documents necessary to apply for housing assistance or sign a rental agreement.

Volunteer Your Time
If you would like to volunteer to guide a homeless guest through the services during the Homeless Resource Day Event please sign up here.
Donate Goods
Toiletry kits including socks and trial sizes of: deodorant, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, and baby wipes.
Past Homeless Resource Day events supported 440 homeless guests and individuals at risk of homelessness. Families and single adults came to receive help and assistance with identification, medical treatment, benefits, haircuts, housing applications and many other services. More than 500 volunteers participated, helping guide the guests through the different service areas. Over 60 organizations donated their time and service on this event.
Thank you to all the volunteers, service providers and guests that helped make the 2018 Anne Arundel County Homeless Resource Day a success.
