Artists Without Limits

We want to thank all of the artists that have submitted artwork for the Artists Without Limits Art Exhibit that was scheduled for April 29, 2020.

The health and safety of residents, staff, and volunteers is always a priority. Staff and volunteers will follow recommended guidelines from the Anne Arundel County Department of Health which is in direct contact with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the Maryland Department of Health and all local county agencies. We share the public's concern about this issue and will continue to align our policies and procedures with the latest recommended preventative measures.

At this time we are postponing the Exhibit to a later date. We will inform you of the new date and time in the future. If you have already submitted artwork, please consider submitting this again when we reschedule.

For updated information about COVID-19, please call 410-222-7256, or visit the Anne Arundel County Health Department

The “Artists Without Limits” art exhibit was created 9 years ago by the Anne Arundel County Commission on Disability Issues (CODI), hosted by Anne Arundel Department of Aging and Disabilities and the Anne Arundel County Arts Council. The purpose of the program is to showcase the artwork of people living in Anne Arundel County who have a disability.  From private and public schools that have art programs for students with disabilities to private citizens, the art exhibit has grown to become an annual favorite. Artists of all ages and disabilities are encouraged to participate.

The Artists without Limits program is one of the Commission’s many goals to enhance and advocate for people with disabilities, and it has grown throughout the years by showcasing and promoting the artwork throughout the county.  This annual event enables individuals with disabilities the opportunity to reach for the stars and accomplish their goals of becoming an artist without limits.

Please join us on April 29th at the Arundel Center located at 44 Calvert Street, Annapolis, MD, 21401 for the annual opening night celebrating these great artists.  The program begins at 5:00 pm with refreshments.  Citations will be presented by the County Executive Steuart Pittman.
