through the trails of the Bacon Ridge Natural Area. This intermediate level hike will follow the rise and fall of the ridges and ravines at the headwaters of the South River. Hikers will explore the history of the farms, homes, and mills that covered this area over 100 years ago. Bring a bag lunch and snacks. Participants should meet at the Severn Chapel Road Parking Area. Ages 12+. A $5.00 fee covers program costs. This is part of a four-part series.
