On Monday April 1, 2019 a citizen was involved in an accident at Route 2 and Colony Crossing in Edgewater. The driver had her dog, Taffy, in the vehicle with her when the accident occurred. While the driver was getting care a bystander attempted to help with Taffy. While the bystander was attempting the help Taffy, Taffy apparently ran off in the area of West Estates towards the woods prior to the police department's arrival on the scene. Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control and the Anne Arundel County Police Department would like to help Taffy get home safely. If you are in the Edgewater area please be on the lookout .
