Attempted Robbery (Commercial) - Glen Burnie

On March 22, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers responded for an attempted robbery in the 300 block of Orchard Road in Glen Burnie. A food truck owner was returning to his residence when two teenage males wearing dark clothing and masks entered the rear door of his truck. One of the males pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded cash while the other searched the victim for money. The suspects fled when they realized there was no money in the truck. Shooting (Non-Contact) - Glen Burnie

March 23, 2024, at approximately 7:00 p.m., officers responded for a shooting at a residence in the 6300 block of Continental Drive in Glen Burnie. The victim was in her home when she observed three males standing behind her home. Two of the males were armed with handguns. When the males noticed the victim watching them, one of them fired several rounds, which entered the victim’s bedroom. No injuries were reported due to this incident. Shooting (Contact) - Laurel

On March 23, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded for a shooting in the 100 block of Lauren Drive in Laurel. Responding officers located a 27-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his torso and immediately rendered medical aid. The victim was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in critical condition. A witness reported seeing a silver SUV leaving the area immediately following the shooting.
