Double Homicide - Glen Burnie
 
On Sunday, March 24, 2019 at approximately 4:53 p.m., the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to the 300 block of Highland Drive, Glen Burnie, Maryland for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival officers located a deceased adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot.The victim was positively identified as Antwon Elijah Queen, a twenty year old male from the 500 block of Baltic Avenue, Brooklyn, Maryland.
 
A second deceased adult male victim was discovered in a room located within an apartment complex also in the 300 block of Highland Drive. The victim was positively identified as Antwan Troy Briggs, a twenty four year old male with no fixed address. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2019 to determine the exact cause and manner of each death.
 
Anne Arundel County Homicide Detectives and Evidence Technicians responded to the scene where numerous items of evidentiary value were collected. A comprehensive canvass of the area was conducted where several witnesses were located and interviewed. Preliminary information suggests this was a targeted incident and not a random act of violence.

Stabbing - Odenton
 
On March 22, 2019 at approximately 10:52 p.m. officers responded for a stabbing in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road. The adult male victim stated he was in the area of the KFC and My Place Bar in the 1600 block of Annapolis Road when he was stabbed by a subject he only knew by a nickname. The victim was transported to a local trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives responded and were able to identify the suspect as Tyrell Brown. Shots Fired - Odenton
 
On March 23, 2019 at approximately 2:48 a.m. officers responded to a call for shots fired at the Motel 6 located at 1630 Annapolis Road in Odenton. Officers were advised the suspect fired several shots at the adult female victim from a vehicle then fled the scene. Detectives responded to the scene and were able to identify the suspect as Calvin Whalen.
