Commercial Robbery/Attempt Carjacking Ferndale
On January 1, 2019 at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 7179 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard for a robbery that just occurred. The store employee advised that the suspect entered the store and demanded money. The clerk opened the register and the suspect removed a small amount of money. When fleeing the store, the suspect confronted a customer in the parking lot and threatened to shoot them if they did not give him a ride out of the area. The customer refused and the suspect fled on foot. Several officers responded to the area and located the suspect a short distance away. No weapon was used and there were no injuries.
