Northern District
CDS Offense Brooklyn Park
On January 16, 2019 detectives from Northern Tactical Patrol Unit were patrolling the Brooklyn Park area of Anne Arundel County. At at approximately 3:00 a.m., detectives conducted a traffic stop on Church Street and 6th Street for a suspended registration. During the stop, consent for a search of the vehicle was granted by the occupants. As a result, detectives recovered the following:
- 24 caps of suspected heroin
- 15.2 grams of crack
- 3 methadone tablets
- 3 baggies marijuana (3.2 grams)
The driver and passenger were placed under arrest and transported to Northern District.
