Northern District
 
Commercial Armed Robbery                                                          Glen Burnie
 
On February 24, 2019 at approximately 7:46 p.m., officers responded for a report of an armed robbery McDonald's located at 7960 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. Officers arrived in the area and observed and detained two individuals matching the description of the suspects. It was determined through investigation that these subjects were not involved in the robbery of the McDonald's, however one of the subjects, identified as Antowan Banjoman Jr., was found to be in possession of a stolen semi-automatic handgun. Banjoman was arrested and charged.  Officers were unable to locate the suspects involved in the robbery. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Commercial Armed Robbery                                                          Lothian
 
On February 22, 2019 at approximately 10:30 p.m., officers responded to the Dash In located at 1378 Mount Zion Marlboro Road for the report of an armed robbery. A male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the registers. The clerk complied and the suspect fled from the store. Officers searched the area however were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
 
Suspect: White male, 35-40 years old, thin build, wearing dark clothing

On February 22, 2019 an officer initiated a traffic stop on a 2001 Honda Accord. During the course of the stop, officers observed the odor of marijuana. A search of the vehicle revealed 63.55 grams of marijuana and a digital scale. Upon arrest, the driver of the vehicle, Joseph Morris 3rd, was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. The passenger was found to be in possession of 7.69 grams of cocaine and 12 Xanax bars. Detectives obtained a search warrant executed a search warrant at the subjects' residence. The following was recovered as a result of the search warrant:
 
  • Marijuana- 156.83 g. (est. street value $$3136.00)
  • Cocaine- 35.69 g.  (est. street value $3569.00)
  • Heroine/Fentanyl- 118.80 gr (est. street value $14,256.00)
  • Xanax- 243 pills (est. street value ($1944.00)
  • Crack- 29.06 gr (est. street value $2906.00)
  • Bottle of Promethazine syrup
  • Packaging materials, scale and cutting agents
  • $13,924.00 US Currency
