On April 26, 2024, at approximately 6:50 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black Fort F-150 in the 700 block of Nursery Road in Linthicum Heights. A search of the vehicle based on probable cause resulted in the seizure of 49 capsules of suspected Fentanyl, approximately 84 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 37 pills of suspected Amphetamine, and $903.00 in U.S. currency. The driver was arrested and charged with CDS distribution and possession-related offenses.

Robbery (Citizen) / First Degree Assault - Brooklyn Park

Detectives assigned to the Northern District Detective Unit are investigating a stabbing and robbery of an individual that occurred in the area of Brookwood Road and Southerly Drive in Brooklyn Park. The investigation revealed that at approximately 9:30 p.m. on April 28th, the 44-year-old male victim was walking in an alley in the area of Brookwood Road and Southerly Drive when a male suspect approached him and demanded his wallet. The victim complied, and the suspect fled after stabbing the victim with an unknown sharp object. The victim went to Harbor Hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury to his torso. On April 29, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop of a black 2004 GMC Yukon in the area of Reece Road and Telegraph Road in Severn. During the stop, the officer learned the male passenger had an open arrest warrant. The passenger was placed into custody and found to be in possession of a 9mm Glock 19 handgun. The officer determined the male is prohibited from possessing firearms. The male was arrested and charged.
