On April 13, 2024, at approximately 2:40 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the TJ Maxx located at 8040 Ritchie Highway in Pasadena. A male suspect attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise. When a store employee attempted to stop him, the suspect displayed a knife and threatened the employee. The suspect fled. Responding officers arrested the suspect, who was found nearby.

Robbery (Citizen) - Pasadena

Eastern District detectives are investigating a strong-arm robbery of a citizen that occurred in the 8600 block of Scorton Harbor in Pasadena on April 13, 2024, at approximately 4:50 p.m.  A 15-year-old male victim was riding his bicycle when a group of white and black males approached, knocked the victim to the ground, and stole his bicycle. Officers later located the victim’s bicycle and returned it to him. Detectives ask anyone with information to contact 410-222-6145 or the Eastern District Tip Line at 410-222-3502.

Weapons Violation / Destruction - Glen Burnie

On April 14, 2024, at approximately 10:00 a.m., officers responded to a report of a gunshot in an apartment in the 300 block of Lori Drive in Glen Burnie. A homeowner located a bullet hole in the ceiling of their apartment. Through investigation, officers determined that the gunshot originated from another apartment in the building.  A search warrant was executed at an apartment in the complex, resulting in the recovery of a loaded 9mm handgun and ammunition in the bedroom of a 16-year-old male.  The 16-year-old was arrested and charged.

Shooting (Contact) ARREST UPDATE - Severn

On December 18, 2023, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to the Orchard Food Market, located at 1159 Reece Road in Severn, for a shooting. Responding officers discovered several vehicles on location that had sustained damage, as well as a male victim who suffered a non-life-threatening injury. Officers found various rifle and handgun casings in the area. Evidence in the investigation indicates a gray Mazda was involved in this incident. Western District detectives are investigating this incident. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call 410-222-6155. Update (April 15, 2024):
Immediately following the shooting, detectives assigned to the Western District Detective Unit began investigating this incident. With the assistance of intelligence analysts with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Crime Gun Intelligence Center, detectives identified 19-year-old Da'sjon Malik Ford of Pasadena, Maryland, as a suspect in this case. On April 11, 2024, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the 7000 block of Timberfield Place in Pasadena. Several pieces of evidence were seized as a result of the search. Da’sjon Ford was located at the residence and taken into custody. Ford was charged with Attempted 1st and 2nd Degree Homicide, 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, and several firearms-related charges.
