On April 11, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers were on patrol in the area of Mystic View Turn and Hidden Brook Drive in Glen Burnie when they heard gunshots. Officers moved toward the area where they believed the gunshots originated and observed a possible suspect walking away. The suspect fled when instructed to stop by officers. He was quickly apprehended and found to be in possession of approximately 75 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms. A loaded 10mm magazine was found at the suspect’s feet. An unserialized 10 mm Polymer 80 handgun, loaded with 27 rounds of 10 mm ammunition, was found near the location where the suspect was taken into custody. The drugs, handgun, and magazine were collected as evidence. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged.
