Shots Fired
 
On 4/12/19 at approximately 2:58 a.m. officers responded to the 8000 block of Cameryn Place in Pasadena for a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival officers located several shell casings on the parking lot of the community.  Witnesses advised they heard between 5 to 8 shots being fired. Officers canvassed/searched the area to include parked vehicles and surrounding buildings but were unable to locate any damage caused by the rounds being fired. Area hospitals were contacted but no shooting victims were located. Northern District Detectives are investigating and anyone with any information is asked to contact them at 410-222-6135 or the TipLine 410-222-4700. As of this report there are no known injuries or property damage as a result.
 
LGBTQ+ Liaison Announced
 
We are pleased to announce Cpl. Robert Koch as the Anne Arundel County Police Department's LGBTQ+ Liaison. Cpl. Koch joined the department in October of 2012 and is currently assigned to the Bureau of Patrol, Eastern District. The Anne Arundel County Police Department is committed to serving all members of our community with the utmost respect and in the most just manner.
 
"As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself, I feel honored and excited to be the LGBTQ+ Liaison for the Anne Arundel County Police Department. As liaison, my responsibilities will be responding to the questions/concerns of the citizens, attending community functions, acquiring relevant training for officers, recruiting new officers, and establishing a support system. The top priority is to make sure the LGBTQ+ community and the public in general know that the police department is here to protect and serve all residents without judgement or prejudice."
