Northern District detectives are investigating an armed robbery of a citizen that occurred in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn. On April 9, 2024, at approximately 10:50 p.m., a 24-year-old male victim was standing outside waiting for a ride when a silver vehicle pulled up next to him. The driver got out of the car, displayed a handgun, and told the victim to hand over all of his property. The victim handed the suspect his cell phone, and the suspect fled in the vehicle. Officers searched the area but could not locate the vehicle or the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call 410-222-6135 or the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
