Commercial Robbery (UPDATE) - Gambrills

On January 11, 2018 at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a commercial robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 1044 Route 3 in Gambrills.  A male entered the business, displayed a knife and demanded money.  The clerk complied and the suspect fled from the area toward the northbound side of Route 3.  Officers searched the area with the assistance of the police K9 unit however were unable to locate the suspect. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

Suspect: White male, 5’6”, 180 lbs., wearing blue sweatshirt and dark pants.

(UPDATE)

Through investigative efforts, detectives were able to develop a suspect in this robbery. A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence and he was taken into custody.  The suspect has been charged with armed robbery and related offenses. He is currently being held on no bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.

Western District

Domestic Violence / Arrest  - Odenton

On April 5, 2018, officers responded to the Western District station to meet with an adult female victim of a domestic assault.  The victim alleged that on April 4, 2018, she was assaulted by her live in boyfriend at their residence located in Odenton.  The victim identified the suspect as Steven Pascal and advised that he is employed as a police officer with the Prince George’s County Police Department.  She also advised that Pascal was out of the country.  

 Officers applied for and received an arrest warrant charging Pascal with assault and reckless endangerment. On April 11, 2018, the Anne Arundel County Police Department received confirmation that Pascal was arrested on April 8, 2018 by Miami-Dade Police Department upon re-entering the country.  Pascal is currently in custody in Florida where he is being detained pending extradition back to Maryland.
