Northern District

Robbery - Glen Burnie  

On December 27, 2017 at approximately 11:53 p.m., officers responded to a robbery of a deliver driver at Champs Pizza located at 7339 E. Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie. The victim stated that at approximately 11:40 p.m. he made a delivery in the 7800 block of Burton Drive. As he was getting back into his vehicle, he was approached from behind by the suspects and felt what he believed to be a gun on his back. The suspects then removed money from his pockets and fled the scene on foot. Several units canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. There were no injuries. Detectives do not believe the call for the food delivery is related to the robbery.

Suspects:

1)      Black male, approximately 5’8”, thin build, wearing dark clothing

2)      Black male, approximately 6’0”, thin build, unknown clothing  

 

Eastern District

Robbery / Stabbing - Glen Burnie                                

On December 28, 2017 at approximately 1:57 a.m., officers responded to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center for the report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival officers met with an adult male victim who told officers he was robbed by three unknown males.  The victim stated he was selling clothing at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the area of Elvaton Road and Hidenbrook Drive in Glen Burnie when he was approached by three males who forcefully took clothes and property he was attempting to sell.  One male stabbed the victim in his back and left arm with an unknown object during the incident. The suspects fled and the victim drove himself to BWMC for treatment of this non-life threatening injuries.

Southern District       

Commercial Armed Robbery  - Annapolis

On December 27, 2017, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers responded for a robbery at the Mr. Smoke located at 2020 West Street in Annapolis. An employee stated that two suspects armed with handguns entered the store and demanded money. The suspects took money and 2 vapes before fleeing through a rear door of the store.  Several units responded and observed a vehicle occupied by males matching the descriptions given of the suspects in the area of Hudson Street and West Street.  When officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle the two occupants fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit and search of the area, officers located and apprehended one of the suspects on Jennifer Road near Medical Parkway. The second suspect is still outstanding.
