Anne Arundel County and Public Works Agencies Nationwide Participate in National Public Works Week

Weeklong Promotional Efforts and Activities To Highlight DPW’s Critical Role in Our Everyday Lives

 

Annapolis (May 19, 2017) – The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works (DPW) will join government agencies and other members of the American Public Works Association (APWA) in celebrating the APWA National Public Works Week.  From May 21 to May 27, Anne Arundel County will promote the mission and services of DPW efforts of our employees that create and sustain a healthy, high quality of life through environmental, social and economically responsible actions. 

 

Anne Arundel County’s activities and efforts to celebrate National Public Works Week include:

 

  • An exhibit highlighting employees, facilities, capital projects and services at the Arundel Center in Annapolis.
  • Daily promotion and information posted to the DPW Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/annearundeldpw) and Twitter sites (https://twitter.com/#!/AACoDPW).
  • DPW Director’s Annual Tour of DPW capital projects and operations (see below).
