County Executive Steve Schuh Highlights Budget with Local Business Groups
Glen Burnie, MD (June 3, 2015) – County Executive Steve Schuh highlighted his proposed FY2016 budget this morning during a breakfast organized by the Anne Arundel County chambers of commerce and other select business groups.
“My budget brings $19 million in much needed tax relief to our citizens,” said Schuh. “This plan will help make our county the best place to live, work, and start a business in Maryland, and I urge business leaders to voice their support for lower taxes."
During the event, the County Executive outlined his tax relief plan that will benefit small businesses, and advocated for his JumpStart Anne Arundel Capital program that will ignite economic growth by supporting critical infrastructure in the county.
The breakfast meeting, which was held at the Le Fontaine Bleu in Glen Burnie, was attended by more than 200 local business leaders from across the county.
The event was organized by the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Chamber, BWI Business Partnership, Baltimore Washington Corridor Chamber, Fort Meade Alliance, Greater Crofton Chamber, Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber, Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber, Pasadena, Business Association, Southern Anne Arundel County Chamber, and the West Anne Arundel County Chamber.
